K-glass is a low emission and energy-saving material. During manufacturing process by means of a chemical reaction a thin transparent coating is applied to glass surface. This coating has a perfect thermal conductivity coefficient. All of that reduces heat radiation losses in 7 — 8 times as compared to a conventional glass. During heating season 70% of heat waves emanating from heating appliances return to the flat. In summer infrared solar radiation is reflected outside.

However, this glass does not transmit ultraviolet sunlight, which worsens the indoor climate: there is no natural premises disinfection, plants growing stops.

I-glass leaves behind K-glass on the technical characteristics. The difference between them is the emissivity level and production technology. I-glass is made by applying vacuum deposition on a standard glass surface.
